Welcome to Sequim Bay Yacht Club’s Website
The purpose of our club is to promote boating traditions, encourage safe boating practices and fun and fellowship among our members. We are a mixture of power boaters and sailors, boat owners and non-boat owners. Our cruising season starts in the spring with a “shakedown” cruise and usually culminates with a late fall trip to Victoria. The Sail Fleet races take place on Sequim Bay spring, summer and fall in an informal, fun activity we call “Duck Dodge”. Additional sailing events are scheduled by the sailors during the year.
We meet once a month in the large meeting room at John Wayne Marina at 7:30pm on the second Wednesday of the month. Frequently we have speakers who would be of interest to our members, share information with us about boating or the Sequim community. Many other social and boating activities are supported by the club during the year.
Our adult group lends support to the Junior Yacht Club for young people who sail their own small boats that are provided by the club and share educational and social activities.
Contact us if you would like to come to one of our meetings and find out more about us. Contacts can be made by telephone at (360)683-1338 or on line by clicking the link SBYC Membership Brochure. Go to the membership page for more information and to download a membership application.
