- The schedule is in the Scuttlebutt and there will be a copy posted on the bulletin board in the Club room. When you wish to go on a cruise, sign up in the usual manner (i.e. use the sign-up sheets at the club meetings or on the Power Squadron website www.calmseas.org). The Power Squadron site is also ‘new & improved’.
- On the left sidebar of the home page click Cruises. There you will find an easy to navigate menu for all you need to know about the 2010 cruising plans. If a Cruise Captain is listed call her/him. If you are not a Power Squadron member and need to go to the ‘members only’ page you will need to use your ‘SBYC member number’ that is listed in the SBYC roster & the on-line member roster. Newer members will be issued numbers.
- On both the paper sign-up sheet and the electronic page on the website you will notice two new entries that are available for cruisers. If you have a boat but no crew and do not want to travel solo, then check the box that says ‘need crew’ for each cruise. If you have no boat available for a cruise that you want to go on, click another box that says ‘will crew’. With those two new boxes we should be able to get another boat or two on a trip by getting a captain and crew together.
Get your calendar out and start planning…and join in the fun!
