The 2016 Hospice Regatta was held September 18, 2016 at the John Wayne Marina on Sequim Bay. Steady rain was falling as the setup crew arrived at 8 AM to decorate the big room and prepare it for the potluck dinner and evening program.By the time the Principle Race Officer was briefing the racers, the weather was looking more promising, although with very little wind. The race was delayed until the wind improved. The wind did make up nicely, the rain held off and the three races went off as planned. Nine boats competed in two divisions based on their PHRF rating.
