How Do I Join?

SBYC Membership Application:

            

Submit application – sponsored by 2 SBYC Members – (for newcomers to the area, the Membership Team will work with you on sponsorship) and initiation fee to Membership Team.

  • Initiation Fee: $300.00

  • Annual Dues: Couple @$275.00, Individual @$176.0

The application process usually takes 30-60 days. During this time applicants are encouraged to attend our General Meetings, second Wednesday of the month at 7:30PM or social events.

  • Application will be presented to the SBYC Board of Directors for review.

  • Upon approval, applicant information is presented to membership for review

  • Following this review, new members are inducted at the next General Business Meeting.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF SBYC MEMBERS? 

As we are a small, casual and unstaffed Yacht Club, a very important aspect of membership is active participation. Each member is expected to volunteer for social, clubroom and/or boating activities…and is thereby afforded the opportunity to meet & work with fellow members, and share in the satisfaction of a job well done.
