The third Tuesday of each month finds 12 - 16 ladies of The Sequim Bay Yacht Club playing canasta in the clubroom.

Some of us have been playing here for years…some for months. We are a relaxed, play-for-fun group of women who have had no bitter words and lots of fun and laughs! When we have more than 12 reservations, we split the hostess duties between two ladies.

• Game day begins at 12:20pm as we ante $ .50 in the “pot.”
  
• We play until 2:00 when the hostess for the day serves dessert.
  
• Play resumes and continues until about 4:00.
  
• Scores are tallied…winners and losers are paid…and then we return to the reality of going home to cook dinner!
  

Even if you have little or no experience playing canasta, we will teach you with friendly forgiveness. Come see for yourselves!!!
